Framlingham Firework Spectacular

We are delighted to report that we have booked Dynamic Fireworks to stage the town's annual firework display - they have a reputation for truly stunning effects as seen at prestigious events such as the Lord Mayor of London's New Year Parade and London's Millennium Celebrations on the River Thames.

Their display schedule for Framlingham aims to push forwards the boundaries of pyrotechnic artistry, using large calibre aerial fireworks to create a visually stunning effect, with shimmering multi-shot barrages. They promise to stage an amazing finale which will fill the sky over Framlingham in a crescendo of colour and light.

The timetable is as follows: - at 6pm the gates open and there is a designated area for sparklers which may be bought on the night, [no sparklers may be brought onto the field]. Hot and cold drinks and refreshments will be on sale, including mulled wine, Earl Soham beer, burgers, hot dogs, candy floss, speciality coffees, waffles and new this year 'The Moving Plaice' Fish and Chips.
The bonfire will be lit at 6.30pm and new for this year, there will be a fire spinning performance by Fleuriefire at 7pm for about 20 minutes and then the firework display will start at 7.30pm.

Prices have been held as for the last 2 years: £6 adults & £4 children [ 3- 16] on the night. Advance tickets, [make a saving and avoid the queues], at £5 adults and £2.50 children may be obtained from the Town Council office in Riverside from 1st October on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. There will also be an opportunity to buy tickets on the Saturday Market on the mornings of Saturday 6th and 20th of October. You may also order tickets by post, enclosing a cheque made payable to Framlingham Town Council and an SAE.

This event is staged by Framlingham Town Council along with co-opted members and support from many volunteers. All proceeds are put into a designated, ring-fenced account and go towards the enhancement of the Pageant Field recreation ground.
